Grand Hotel De Nimes

Reception staff were excellent and could not have been more helpful. We arrived earlier at hotel than check in time due to flight timings but reception had our rooms ready very quickly and we were able to check in 4 hours early without being charged any extras. They were also very helpful with ordering taxi's and directing us to bus stops etc as well as speaking excellent english. Not busy while we were there so had the pool(very small) to ourselves

The pool.........my son has enjoyed swimming most days.......and the sun.......It was sunny most days. Well, we went for the sun!!!

We couldnt all stayed together in one room with 2 adults and 2 kids. They asked us to pay for 2 rooms. I suggest all to contact the hotel before traveling to make sure they know how many are coming. We have enjoyed the privacy though. So I was happy after all :)

The hotel was easy to find and for us travelling by car the location was perfect. The standard of the room was good and the breakfast had most of what you can expect.

The staff were really friendly at all times and helpful with local knowledge.

Location is a bit off-putting initially and the prices in the restaurant/bar are far too high, also no food available when we arrived on Sunday. We would have used the hotel much more if the food/bar rates were more typical of the area, this might explain why the bar was always empty?

Staff were the highlight.

Hotel feels quite dated, however general cleanliness was good.

We complained to the staff that the airconditioner would not cool down. They told us that it only heats up, not cools down. If I wanted it colder I had to open the window. Not a very nice hotel. I expected better from a Holiday Inn hotel.

Rooms are being accessed even while the do not disturb tag is on the door. Food (the steak) in the restaurant is really poor.

Once again....Holiday Inn had issues with WIFI not working and we again had to pack up and change rooms.....Meal was shocking as chef refused to actually cook the meat

4 stars are too much for an hotel with broken tiles in the toilet and also light switches not properly screwed on the walls

Hotel had a car park that was on cctv. Bedroom was very spacious and the furtiture & fittings were nice, comfy bed.

The toilet was seperate from the bathroom. The hairdryer was fixed to the wall in the bathroom but had electrical wires exposed. Hotel was looking tired and getting ready for a re-furb.

Stuff at reception was friendly and helpful ! Close to motorway exit

In my opi. never a 4 star - everything is old fashioned, should be renovated, specially bathroom. Prices at restaurant for the quality they deliver much to high ! price - value: bad Will for sure not visit again !

The bed was extra comfy and lovely clean crisp sheets.. Lorenzo who served us recommended the best steak we have ever had.... The food in the restaurant is outstanding!!

The hotel was extremely dated.. Very 1980s

Kind and attentive staff. An ideal base for our purposes, if a little further from the centre of the city than might be ideal for all.

The staff were really good, very helpful, proactive and professional.

The quality of the room, the air conditioning was quiet and make it very comfortable. The furnishing, bed, shower etc were very good. The staff were on the whole exceptionally helpful and nice.

Were concerned about the number of broken windows in the building. The breakfast room was not very cosy it felt like being in a gym.
